Ok so i have pretty much everything else ready to do the swap but my 2 issues i am getting contradicting infor on are the fuel rail and the axles. I have a 95 accord coupe and am getting a 92-96 h22 from a japanese importer.
For the fuel rail i heard something about needing to use a 97 and up h22 rail did anyone have to do this with their swap?
My next issue is whether or not i can use the accord axles since the swap doesnt come with them. Do i need to get prelude axles or do accord axles work?

Thanx again for a great reply. but no all of the swap info i have gotten is all the same some things contradict the others. I am just trying to make sure i have all the parts i need to complete the swap so come time its up in the air on a hoist i can just do it all.
Like this quote from a how to kinda got me a lil confused. Other than that Thanx for the help muffin man. you helped me out once with the powersteering bracket issue so i was hoping to get a straight answer about this.
Import nut.net "You can use either prelude or accord axels and intermediate shaft. They are essentially the same. On the intermediate shaft side, you cannot mix accord and prelude parts. The connection is different between the two"
Accordingly done "Axles: Use the Accord axles and intermediate shaft."
Honda-acura.net "Use accord axles"
Sport compact car "The Prelude half shafts are stronger and should be considered a necessity if you plan to use the extra power. The Accord's inner CV joint has a splined shaft that engages an internally splined section of the half shaft. The Prelude's assembly has a male spline on the half shaft that engages the beefy CV joint casing, a stronger design. Apart from this difference, the sets are dimensionally the same and you'll have no trouble using the Prelude parts in the Accord knuckles and hubs."
Basically i just want to know what my best option is. Use accord or prelude Axles?

Personally I would use the accord axles and intermediate shaft. The prelude axles have longer outer splines. The prelude axles are stronger than the accord axles. It is really ud to you...Good luck with the swap..

Nevermind my post aimed at you unhelpfullness muffinman i searched and found the thread bout the guy asking bout the shafts that you responded too. Next time just put a link to the thread.
If you wanted to know which were better then ask which ones are better.
Don't ask whether the accord ones can be used or not.
Accord Intermediate Shaft + Accord Axles
OR
Prelude Intermediate Shaft + Prelude Axles
Your choice, the prelude axles are a bit thicker.
Bad day so far so you'll have to roll with the attitude.
And it would seem from all the info you have, you already had the answer, I don't see why there was confusion.

Ya sorry bout that used the wrong wording didnt mean to throw people off. Basically just trying to cover my *** if i forget something for the swap. Dont want to have my car laid up for days having to pay for shop space while i wait for parts so hope to have everything i need. Here is a list of parts i have bought for it so far:
-97 powersteering bracket
-Timing belts/tensioners/waterpump
-Header/cat
-plug/wires
-97 fuel rail
-Prelude motor mount
I am also wondering if should replace the crank seal i heard that this was sometimes and issue and even a recall. What do u guys think?

Most likely the ones coming with the motor - if they are included will be all gunked up.
We soaked mine for 3 days in gasoline to try to clear them up and it was no good.
I'd also recommend going to the manual tensioner as well. I'll probably be redoing mine with the manual at some point.

been looking at the manual tensioner mod but my timing belt kit came with new auto tensioners so i am just gonna put them in for now. if i had known bout the mod before i bought these parts i probably would have just bought everything seperate. Lets hope nothing happens and if something does it gives me a reason to build the motor a lil more haha. And with my injectors i think i am just going to send them out to get cleaned or rebuilt.
