question on wheel fitment
17x8.5+35 17x9.5+45 5x114.3
i'm picking these wheels up soon, i just wanted some feedback, how well do you think the wheels will fit? I know for sure there will be some fender rolling that needs to be done.
jus tto let you know if you have a moderate drop, you will have minor rubbing in the rear if any on big bumps with 245 series tires. and the front if you run 205 you will have minor rubbing but more often and maybe even rip your inner liner out. So if you want to be safe you can do 205 series in the front and 235 in the rear with a moderate drop. if you plan on dropping a fingerless drop, you will have to do 2.25 or more negative in the rear and negative in the front as well. If you wan to run 215 in front and 245 in rear you will definately need to roll the fenders all the way around. I would recomend doing this regardless so you have no issues with rubbing.
good luck and post pics when you get them on.

pk theres some good advice and a some bad advice:
do not run a 205 and a 235 tire... thats stupid... your *** will come out a lot easier and im sure ull get some kind of understeer as well with the 205's in front... y would u want to run tires smaller than stock??? plus with an 8.5" front rim a 205 will be stretched way too much... a 215 is still pushing it, but will be ok even though you should want to run a 225 with those wide front rims... as for the rears i would go with 245's if u go with the 215 front, but again a 255 will fit a lot better and will ride nicer with a 225 in the front...
youre def going to have to run a lot of neg camber... i would recomend s@antos specs:
-2 up front and -3 at the rear...
your most likely going to have to roll both sets of fenders... heres a thread showing u 2 types of results:

are u lowered???

well u have to take the rims off to roll them...
yeah u dont want to roll them until they become vertical... after that, the paint begins to chip and will look shitty... take it to a shop and have them take care of it for u...

Roll both front and rear fenders, flare the fronts, cut approximately four inches off of the fender liner to prevent rubbing, relocate the rear bumper tab and increase -camber.
I have run as low as 8+25 in the front and 9+30 in the rear slammed so you can make your setup work.

i wouldnt recommend flaring right away... when you sell your car, people visually cant tell if u rolled your fenders, but they will see if you flared them... also, to me i hate the flared fender look... if u have to do all this **** to make a set of rims fit, you shoulndt buy them, instead get ones that do... IMO

just thought of this as well... ur going to need to get ur alignment first... if u try and fit the setup with current specs and lower the car down, u run a chance of creasing/denting your fenders... it kinda sucks to guess at what camber your going to need, but u might as well go extreme first to make sure they fit, and then later if u dont like the ride, then get it changed...
PS i love the rims... u gettin them new or used?

My front fenders are flared and people don't even notice. It depends on how the fenders are flared and how aggressive you want to go.

well you picked the best color... and uve got a good price range for rims as well... SSR's and the Works will most likely be in your price range... BBS are a lil higher but you might find a sweet set... ill keep my eyes open...
i personally like gold rims on a black car, but the popular black with polished lip is always nice and bronze do hot as well...
and ignore graf... hes just pissed cuz my car is better than his
