Default what he said

Turn your headlights off and take a picture of the lip, please. I think this can look good, you just have to watch out with how it's attached. The pic of the EG---are those staples?

Has anyone got any close-up pics of a CRX or similar front end with one of these?

What're they made of?

I'll get some close up pictures of it in a bit. Its made of lawn and garden edging. Its screwed on along the top. Then the screws are covered and sealed off with black caulking. Worked out really well.

I mounted it about an inch under where the factory Si lip goes, it would look like **** if you mounted it right up front...the screws would be showing (couldnt seal them off) and the upper edge up the edging would also show It costed about $6 bucks to make it, same price range as a b-series swap . I'll get a side shot if i get around to it.

yea, i made a lawn lip too, but i mounted mine on the front, and used rivets to mount it. i think mine looks better than that IMO.

I have the same "ghetto lip" and it is made of lawn edging bought at any local Home-Depot or Lowes. Cost me a total of $10 gas and all.

My Girl Friend helped me out on my "ghetto lip" we used the lawn edging and screws. We started in the middle and went outwards with it. Put the screws about 3-4" apart. It didnt wrinkle and it looks fine to me! We put silver washers and used black screws to give it a diff. look. Kinda like pop rivets with a black center.

he didn't make that, that's a REAL Spoon Mugen Lip... it was a joint effort b/t the two companies to produce this awesome front lip spoiler! i've actually got one here for sale if you're interested... i'll let it go for $400 shipped which includes all the mounting hardware.

How do your cove base molding ghetto lips hold up on the freeway/interstate? Does it hold its shape?
I installed mine on friday night, and after a day of Christmas shopping, which included a lot of high speed interstate driving, the lip looked like it did not want to be there.
