I had the same problem when I got my CRX. Use razorblades like previously stated and some windex. It helps get the glue residue off.

i found brake cleaner helps losen the tint up, and when you scrape with the single edge razor scrape at an angle it will go much faster

if you have a steamer hold the steam up to it ,let the steam warm it up and then start peeling it right off.slow process but it works the best.

No steamer ? Heat gun or hair dryer worked good for me.

The best way is using a solvent of sorts. how powerful is up to you, I used to use KING solvant, came in a huge black spray can. Anything else is way too much work. heat / steam works well to get an edge started, but steam also reactivates the glue so it sticks to w/e you're trying to wipe it with, and razor blades are overkill once you get an edge started and its also a great way to make your rear defroster broken.

i work at a *** shop where we do pro tint and the way we take it off is you pull the corner off and jsut peel the tint off then you spaary wondoew clean and scrap the glue off. or you can use amonia 50/50 water on the window and he will come off with a rag after like 30 mins of a soak.

x2 kinda. get trash bags and windex, spray the window with windex and stick the trash bags to the window. let bake in sun for 30-45 minutes. peel whole sheet off at once. clean window. BTW it was to be warm for this to work.

get a razor blade, and try to take off as many big full pieces as possible, when you take off the tint, respray the tint with some water and a little soap mixed in, put the tint back on the window and let it sit for like 20-30 mins, and then take it off, that will take most of the glue off of the window.

If you still have glue on your window after that.. get a razor blade, with a razor blad holder, spray your window with soapy water, and run ur hand up and down the window with the razor blad, like a squeegee, until the glue is off

If you use a razor blade, don't expect to have a defroster afterwards.

If you cut the defroster traces with the blade, you break the circuit. No more defroster.
