hey so i just want to start out buy saying im dumb? i have a dc4 and i took my cd player out of my car a while back and i wanted to keep the wiring harness so i just cut it off cd player. then when i went to sart the car and the wiring harness sparked and my cigarette lighter and clock go out. so i disconect the wiring harnes and rock and roll with no cd player for a while. i wanted to put a new cdplayer in so i check the fuses and replace the one that was blown and the clock and cigarette lighter still dont work. and the new cd player doesnt work. i was just wondering what to go after next to get every thing going again?
You checked all the fuses? There's only three that would affect them: Radio/Cig Lighter, Interior Lights, and Backup (Backup is found in the engine bay).
Have you checked all of the fuses to be sure, though? Even the ones in the engine bay?
