sorry for the picture.....but u can see where the light hits...al the scrates/swirls.....hood is fading pretty bad....any suggestions???? i dont got $150++..to go get it re-done..so what do u think i should do?thank u very much in advance..

its hard to see the problem with that picture but if its just scratches and swirls you should be able to have it buffed out without needing a reclear

if its peeling you might have to

sorry for that!! but the hood has a lot of scratches..and also...when looked at it loks like the clean coat wasnt even there....but when in the sun at a side view...ITS NICE!!

the best thing to do is pay someone to wetsand and clear the hood. it will look better than it did when new if done correctly.

I had a friend with a bad oxidation problem. We just wet sanded it and then buffed it out. Looks brand new again. You need to post pictures to show us what exactly is happening though.

ill buy it from ya ..... start with soft block and 2500 grit (wetsand paper) and work your way up . if you have a angle grinder you can get an attatchment to put a buffing pad on and some quality buffing compound and she will look better then new . it shouldnt cost too much to get it re-cleared . all they do is wetsand it , wipe it clean and spray it . there isnt much too it . should only cost 2hrs max of labor at most , and little bit for they materials . thats only if its swirl marks and scratches
