Crank Sensor position?
i have a 91 honda civic hatch sohc zc i just replaced my old distributor not to long ago because the crank sensor was tangled and destroyed now the new one i bought is giving me a similar problem..
my car won't start at first but after a few times of trying its starts up and the rpm's start bogging out like the car is cold and then the engine light usually comes on after the car act's that way but not always, when it does the ECU flashing 4 time's which i looked up and said it's the crank sensor position i tested the sensor it's fine... the car is still drivable but when it reaches 3000 rpm's it starts to bog out and won't let me go over 3000's i tested the distributor it's fine and also bought a new ECU... does anybody know what else the problem could be or what to do to fix this? thanks

About $360 for just the base, or $672 for the complete assembled unit.
Go find a known good used one.
Or you could go with a Distributor King aftermarket TD18U distributor via eBay for $165, unless you need it overnighted. These are mostly good, and worth the money.
