Default wax & grease remover?

is there anything from the parts store or home depot i can use as a wax and grease remover before spraying the car?

50/50 of isopropyl rubbing alcohol and water.

Just make sure to wipe it off really well.

if you dont have any wax and grease remover wash it with dish soap and water and rinse, get er real soapy

any auto supply store should have some wax and grease remover tho

cool. just what i wanted to know if i could use over the counter stuff like that.

I highly recommend PPG wax and grease remover. I think the part number is DX330.

I would search some autobody supply stores that sell PPG products.

just go and get it at napa its like 10 bucks for a gallon or something. i use it becuase its the same **** and id rather spend my $$ on the dupont **** and not waste it on pre cleaner

go buy the better stuff, some of the homebrew and cheap line will not vaporize fast enough or completely = crap in paint.

don't cheap out on paint supply

to each his own, i prefer to use it, and if it doesnt dry uber fast ill jsut dry it with paper towels or air. never had a problem with it

ive used prep all from the parts store and they also sell it at the home depot it works good just make sure you wipe it off really good but nothings better the dx330
