ef trailing arm problem **help**
so i was pulling the rear trailing arms off of my civic today to put my Dc rear disc arms in and found that the toe adjuster bolt was frozen in the sleeve for the arm. i welded the sleeve to the arm to get the bolt to spin free and when it did the sliding nut (bracket whatever) inside the body of the car disappeared. what do i do to mount the new one? am i going to have to cut the floor out form the inside and actually put a nut on the bolt when i feed it through? has this happened to anyone else?...
help!!!!

Just below the rear seat, if you drill a hole in the floor you will be able to get to the nut. There is a small track for it to slide in, the nut just fell out. I had the same problem on my old hatch. Thats what I did for a quick fix.

Lol! Seriously.
I had a similar problem when I stripped out the hole for the bolt for my rear LCA doing the "washer trick." Had to get a guy to bust open the rear subframe and tack a nut in there and tap it. It was a complete pita.

thanks guys, biggest bummer is that i just welded a new quarter and large floor section in the car. if i had known it would have made this way easier!!! looks like ill be doing some cutting next weekend.
