unplug my atts ecu
I did the same thing (removed more like it) but I'm also running Hondata. But haven't notice anything other then having an extra 50 lbs on the front end.
You should be okay. My understanding is that when the ATTS control unit goes offline, the ATTS unit just becomes an open diff. However, why is your ATTS light on in the first place? If there is a problem with the ATTS unit then yes, you could mess it up. Have you checked the codes for the ATTS light?
Simply lowering your car shouldn't trip the ATTS system; mine is also dropped. Running a tire size different from stock or equivalent (plus-sizing is fine if you use the right ratio's; I'm on 17's) can also trip the ATTS (putting on your spare, for example, will do this). If it started happening right after you dropped it, it's possible one of the wheel sensors got unplugged or damaged. Do you know how to check the ATTS codes? This will give us a better idea what is actually wrong.
