Default Best OEM size Brake Rotors/Pads for 15" wheel for DC Integra

So this is regarding my 96' Integra LS.

I don't want to run anything bigger than a 15" wheel.

Want to keep it 4-lug

This will be used for Road Racing / Track days

I want to start off with rotors and pads. Then maybe upgrade the calipers.

I have 11" Corrado brakes on my Rabbit w/ 15" wheels and I want something to come close to that kind of stopping power for my Integra.

What engine?

Because the stock Integra brakes with track pads and fluid are enough for track days in a DC4 prepped for Improved Touring. When you're pushing GSR power levels, then they become a bit inadequate.

I've never heard anyone with an ITA or H4 Integra complain about the brakes. ITS Integras, OTOH, have a history of brake problems.

I am running a moderately built LS/Vtec.

I am able to hit almost 120mph on the straights and need to slow to about 35 for the turn in.

Here are your options: http://fastbrakes.com/shop/ind...6_128

The 11.1" kit with 17CL15VN calipers and the 11.1" kit with Wilwood calipers will fit under 15" wheels. The 11.8" Wilwood kit should fit under most 15" wheels. The others won't, or will limit you to only specific 15" wheels that can fit (Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 15x7" wheels fit the Wilwood 12.2" kit).

Call up Fastbrakes and talk to Brian - he can give you the best advice.

Keep in mind that staying with 4-lug hubs will limit you to buying specially drilled rotors rather than off-the-shelf rotors, which usually isn't the best idea for a track car. Cheap and widely available consumables are ideal.

The 11.1 inch wilwood kit looks like a winner.

Unfortunately, I just spent all my money on cams, valvetrain, and H&R coilovers.

I will just probably have to get a couple sets of cheap Brembo blanks and racing pads for now.

Next year I will have the wilwoods.

Thanks for that link Targa!

you can always upgrade to 98-02 accord front calipers and EP3/RSX rear rotors/calipers. Basically running quality calipers with quality pads and good brake fluids with steel brake hoses should be enough for semi built LS/Vtec.

Your most cost effective option is the 4x100 Type-R brakes. Its got a fantastic pad, very good caliper, and with modification and new rotors, can be had for under 300$ if you look in the right place (me). 11.1" brakes, big *** pads, powerful calipers, and clear 15s.
