can a p28 ecu with hondata be retuned if its been tuned to another car before
well i want to buy a used s200 w/ p28 and i just want to know if it can be retuned after its been tuned to another car.
i might have the answer if your name didnt have the number 69 in it... reeeeeeal mature.

haha i was just messin with ya i had to go look it up. why would you want to run 2 ECU's? or am i understanding this wrong? i dont beleive hondata chips are retunable. just replace it with chrom and retune the p28

Yes, you should be able to re-tune it fine. I used to have s200 and a p28 in my last turbo car. It should have a rom chip that plugs into a socket in the ecu...you burn the tune onto the rom chip using a pocket programmer or whatever and just plug the chip into the ecu...
thanks bro know you made me feel better because i bought it yesterday and the check engine light flashes very fast and when i turned the car on it shut of after 10 seconds. The guy i bought it from told me straight up it was fine and if there were a problem to call him back. Anyways since the ecu is tuned already it cant just work on another car just like that right.
