well if you are serious about road racing there is a potential to reving that high at this altitude
(5280+) if you can make power up there. The main thing that you will need is valve train components … don’t listen to these dumb *** kids… if you make power up there do it.
THE MAIN THING IS IF YOU MAKE POWER!!!

here you go....<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by toda &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> TODA valve springs allow maximum lift while preventing valve float, which can occur under high rpm, high lift conditions. Their specific spring rate prevents damage to TODA camshafts, which may occur as a result of using valve springs that are too stiff. Valve springs that are too stiff may also put additional stress on the timing belt and cause shredding and breakage. TODA valve springs are oval shaped, which increase load capacity by 20% and reduce weight by 15% compare with conventional round shaped valve springs.

If you want to make power at 10k RPM you will need a great header. You will need a good ported head. You will need some very large camshafts. You will need an intake system that provides lots of air. A well balanced rotating assembly will also help. A clutch that does not explode at high rpm might be nice too.
Why you would want to rev a motor to 10k is another question.
