can i weld 409 stainless with mild steel filler. it'll be mig'd
it's for my charge piping, so it won't see a lot of heat and it'll be painted after it's done so corrosion wont be a factor. let me know if it would be okay.

 

if by ok you mean melt that ish together yeah it will. Ive flux core migged stainless to mild and stainless to stainless exhaust tubing. Aint pretty and it will rust but it will work well enough for your purpose.


its not ideal but work with what you have imho
