How to take off mirrors?

Default How to take off mirrors?

I never took off my mirrors before.. can someone show me the steps and exact tools needed to take off my oem 00 civic mirrors?

open your door.
behind the mirror, there is a triangular cover. pry it off and there should be 3* 8mm nuts holding the mirrors in place.

just remove the 3 nuts and the mirror if off.

The proper way to do it is to take off your door panel first. But its kind of a PITA.

you dont have to remove the door panels to take off the mirrors.

in order to keep all of the clips in tact you have to take the door panel off..****

For Eg's you have to take off the door panel. Pretty simple.
