Default Buddy Club Spec 3 question

I am about to pick up some BC3 cams for a bseries head. How can i tell that they are authentic. do they have any imprints or numbers on them i should look for? A friend of mine posted the same question in the civic section and no one wants to answer it. So can someone please answer this question for me

if i remember correctly, there are 2 types of 4's out there. one's marked A and the others B. the only problem is, one of them makes quite a bit less power. but i can't remember which ones though

have any of you put spec 3 in ur head without changing the valvesprings and retainers? i contacted buddy club and they said theyre not mandatory since these cams arent really big. Theyre still stage 1 cams. Just wanted to see if people have done it and didnt have problems

BC3 seem to have good numbers on B16's. There were hundreds of dyno's 3 years ago.

you dont need to change ur valves..just springs/retainers..Im running supertech..it was only like 289 shipped through a sponsor on here..

if you dont wanna upgrade ur valvetrain, just run some ctr cams

i even called buddy club and the guy on the phone was like no problem they are not a very aggressive cam aslong as you stick to your stock redline then it will be fine......honestly i guess they say that so they can sell easier....i have omniman valve springs and retainers and they are great...only cost me like 250
