is the 92-93 compatible with a 90 b18a1 head?mine just said bye

you will probably have to remove a plug on the back driver side of the block that i used a 1 5-16 socket on the use a plug that has a spot for a temp ensor, best bet is to do it with the motor out, at least this has been the case in the ones i swapped

you're talkin about the b18b block?n after you took the plug off anything different happen,by the way i found a b18b block with 67k so now,im thinkin more of this swap,anymore help would be appriciated.

you will need to switch this plug and the sensor thats in it from your old motor into the b18b block, other than that just use your intake and accesory brakets from your old motor, just did mine a couple weeks ago and worked great, and if you go with that 6xxxxml motor you should change the timing belt and water pump while the motor is out cause it makes it way easier, by the way this is clockwork2 on my buddies name cause i cant log him off fyi

forgot to maention you also need to use your old driverside motor mount braket off the block which is easy to switch cause it bolts right up, its the one that goes in between the 2 sides of the timing belt and bolts on behind the timing cover, good luck

great info thanks,but now i cant find the guy that has the block ,im thinking of just rebuild the old block,i mean only the piston ring 2 is shot but wat the hell its already out so build for boost
