I'm planning on running my EF with B16a at the track soon. Mods are 75 shot wet nitrous system, upgraded fuel, and ignition. I'll be running on some 22.5 / 8 / 13 MT et drag slicks on some 13" bogarts. What is the optimum tire pressure and launch rpm for these slicks. I was thinking setting the tire pressure at 12 psi and launching @ 5500 RPM . Feed back / advice is greatly appreciatted. Thanks

 

I would think you could launch a lil higher...like 7000rpm?

 

10psi. 7000rpm should be good for some 1.8 and 1.7 60'

 

didn't know MT made 22.5x8x13

 

my bad i just rechecked it 24.5 / 8 / 13

 

around 7k but try different one's to see which work better , no less then 6k

 

Be sure to bring some axles and maybe a spare tranny with you.
Your not making enough hp to turn 24.5's. GO with 22's.

 

I'm launching at 8000 RPM. I've never broken anything. If done properly, it really isn't that hard on parts.

off topic Im running a crx all motor with same tire and one piece front end wings west sides. Im haveing a problem with the slicks hitting if a turn the wheel all the way if i have the car sitting low. the higher the better clearance I have. I have the tube front cross member ajusted al the way up wtf

 

I can't run MT's with my drop. I still use M&H 22x8x13. Although I would like to run MT's or even Goodyear.

 

so if i run my mt i have to have the car raised up. **** it going to look like i have a lift kit. cool for the info if i lower a have to run m and h 22's?

 

i had to raise my car up like a 4x4 to run these slicks
