This is the same thread.

Everything got deleted due to false accusations as I proved that it is a Type R.

If anything bad is said again, GK will find out and deduct or ban.

This is a slight exaggeration. I do not know if it is an ITR or not. I just eliminated the back and forth.

I think you should take more pictures and publish them in order to put everyone's mind at ease.

I'll be happy to inspect & verify that the car is authentic if you guys are really skeptical. I will personally vouch for Tony (MidwestAutoWorks). I've dealt with the him on several occasions - he's a good guy and not a scammer. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Although I am hardly Mike's best friend, I know him well enough to know that he would not say this if he did not believe it.

This ends the discussion as far as I am concerned.

I know the guy who's buying this car. I went with him to inspect the car on several occasions. And while I'm not a self-professed !YO-MAD-JDM! Expert, I do know that the car's VIN checks out. The car started its life as a Type R. The car was bought in 2001, and then only a year(and 22k miles) later, it was given a junk title. It's anyone's guess as to what happened, but I surmise that it was involved in a major accident. Since the car was so new at the time and still had a lot of value, I can understand if a (red)RS shell was grafted to the back end(if that's where the damage was) in order to salvage it for racing or off-road use(and hence, the car cannot be titled and driven on the street).

Tony has been completely honest about this, I don't know why there is all this hate for him. Anyway, he is only asking $4K for the car. Like I said, the VIN checks out, and the VIN on the firewall matches, as well as the VIN on the fenders. So, at least you know that the front end is authentic. The VIN on the engine block matches up as well and the block has the B18C5 stamp. The head has a PR3-3 stamping which matches casting used for Type R heads. Also, there is green paint residue on the head near the distributor which signifies that that head is indeed a Type R head. The only question mark in my mind is the tranny. It has been painted over and has no visible stamps. Also, there is no rivet holes for the VIN tag. So without opening it up, one cannot be certain. Since Type R motor swaps go for around $4k, buying this car is not as big a risk as some people are making it out to be since you are getting the 5 lug hubs, Type R suspension and brakes as well... anyway, this post is just a big VOUCH for Tony and Midwest Auto Works. These guys are legit and are very pleasant people to boot! So, if my buddy doesn't pick this up on Saturday, someone here is gonna get a sweet deal!

I dont think i need to prove anything anymore but

b18c5 swap - 3000
jrsc- 1500
5 lug swap 400
rims - 400
front and rear end(bumpers, lights and such) 500
Dash and carbon fiber pieces and and armrest 200.

HMMM 4000 makes sense to me.
I dont have time to part it or I would

Also can anyone tell me did these things have immobilizers?

We stuck an ecu off a 2000 SI on it to try and start it for midori and crew, but it wouldnt start.
