Default EM1 from Toronto Checking in!

New guy here on HT. Site is very very informative and I've been lurking around for quite some time now. Decided to post up some pics of my ride. 2000 EM1, lowered on teins, I/H/E, start for now, going to turn her into a little auto-x champ/daily driver! Rims are gonna go soon, so don't flame me on those. Little about me, big into the car audio scene, working as a professional installer for quite some time now. Starter/security nerd. Pretty much anything electrical wise on a car, I'm confident to say that I'm very familiar with.

Right now, I'm just doing research on suspension. Planning to track the car and auto-x it pretty often. Its going to an "ongoing project", so small mods here and there. Plans for the car are to make it functional for daily driving, and tough enough for some track days.

well if u need any tips ive got some nice suspension in my em1, and shes goin into auto-x this season, plus i have some auto-x suspension legends living close to me...

Ive got koni/gc on my em1, stock front sway, ASR 24mm rear sway with Custom made ASR rear endlinks and an ASR rear subframe brace, spoon front and rear strut bars, and ill be runnin on azenis this summer. and s2(soon to be changed) front and rear camber adj kits

i got cusom rates on the springs, 500 front 450 rear right now
gonna be changed to 600 rear 500 front soon...i need a more rear biased rate due to the balance issues with the car

with the shocks turned down to soft its comfy ans hell and turned to stiff it takes a beating

^ sweet man, I've heard a lot of good stuff about the koni/gc combo. With that part of the suspension I already have more less figured out, its just that I want to look more into the whole sway bar, braces, and adjustable arms. Also debating weather to get the skunk2 or blox LCA's. Going to be looking into it, and right now I'm just reading on peoples opinions.
Your setup seems very promising, have fun with it man!

blox lca's have alot of trouble with cracking bushings, however its mainly because people put them on wrong. if i were u id spend the extra money and get a quality peace like function7, ssr, omni power. I myself just bought function7 lca's. they are quality, very lightweight, and strong.

and swaybars, anythingr from usdm ITR 22mm, JDM CTR/ITR 23mm, ASR/MUGEN 24mm will be perfect. just get an ASR brace or you will suffer from sub frame tear out, especially if u r planning on getting into auto-x, track days. beaks kits are fine for eg/dc but people still have problems with ek's, comptech is alright, but a ASR is 100 percent worth it and it looks incredible.
