78 fiberglass roof

i just bought a 78 civic & the roof has a big hole in it but its fiberglass, underneath is old rusty metal but my question is: is it suppose to be fiberglass?? if so, how do i fix this?..if not, what do i do?

no, it's not supposed to be fiberglass. you will need to contact a body shop and have them make and weld in a new panel
