first of all u will need parts to complete auto to manual tranny conversion. such as bracket. pedals. ..etc.then engine swap. if u dont know how to do all the work by yourself. then it is not cheap in labor to have someone do it for you

Just curious, but why B16?

I'd take an LS over a B16 any day. That's just me though.

yes i will be doing all the work myself with freinds... and yes i know i have to change all the brackets and pedals.... that's common sense with an auto to manual anything... and actually while looking around on the internet i've changed from a b16a to a b18c... i've made this decision b/c the car will be just a daily driver and not heavily modified... just I/H/E and maybe some other bolt ons... i didn't feel i would be happy with the performance of the b16a so i will be opting for the b18c.... now if im correct i'll have to run b16 axles for this to fit in my car.. from what i've been told... the b18 axles are too long

ok im not gonna be lil punks like half the people on here i had a b16 swap in my EG hatch.

i will say it was peppy but it only felt peppy cuz i went from a D to a B. but as the summer went on i figured out pretty fast that the motor was slower then *****.
i would say if you want to swap a b spend the extra money and go with a gsr with a super charger or type R. the b16 is just a waste of time and money when you can spend a little more and get allot more out of it. now if you had the money i would say research some info on H22 great power band stock H22 with intake header exhaust was runing mid 13s in my buddys eg yes its a little more work for it but i would be worth it in the end if your just gonna put a stock motor in the car

hope i was a lil bit more help then every one eles

Great swap, worth the $ IMO. A JRSC will fit this motor.

B18 axles are not too long, they will work just fine. Go smack the person who told you that.

It's hard to resist sometimes. This swap has been covered SOOOO many times on the Interwebz.

Just don't forget that you're gonna need an after market tranny mount since you're doing an Auto>Manual swap, the auto mount is different than the manual. I think Innovative makes them.

*EDIT* Just called a friend of mine who ordered that ^^^ mount I was talking about from Innovative. He ordered it last week, called them yesterday to see if they shipped it yet and they told him that the had to make the mount because they didn't have it in stock. Just to let you know, you may have to wait for it. If it was me I would look for it on Ebay or something.

*___ yes, you'll be buying a supercharger for the motor, there should be no clearance issues.
