up front i have a itr swaybar and PWJDM tri-point on top.
heres what is happening with my car. exiting out of a clover or in the middle of it.
i can feel the cars tail slip. any thing over 40 and its terrifying.

A: Slow down.
B: Get winter tires.
C: If A and B don't work, You could try unhooking the rear sway bay.
(I don't know if C would help or not.)
D: If A, B, And C do not work. Get something else to drive in the winter!!

Winter driving requires an entirely different setup--basically you need a loose surface setup like rally cars.
Which means
1) Dedicated Winter Tires. This is the most important. You should be able to locate studded or studless snow tires for $100-200, possibly with wheels from places like Craigslist. 14's, 15's are really easy to find.
Having good, dedicated snow tires on Honda will trump having All Wheel Drive. Tires! Tires! Tires!
2) You need more mechanical grip: Softer springs, dampers, no sway bars (or very soft). Removing the sway bars will help quite a bit.
That takes care of turning, going and stopping for the most part.
3) If you want to be able to go and not get stuck in all but the worst situations, having an LSD helps a lot.
But ultimately, you're just not going to have much grip. Drive like you don't have brakes--cause basically you don't. Master threshold braking. Turn or Stop: pick one.

Yup. Tires just don't grip all that well in cold temperatures. These guys ^^^^ are right - a good studless winter tire (like the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 or Michelin X-Ice) is going to give you better grip than all-season tires like your Dunlop SP5000. But you still can't expect any tire to give you as much grip in cold weather as your tires do in warm weather. Slow down!
no where in this thread does it ask about driving on track or at an autox....
anyone can throw money at their car and get some ill handling problems with it!!!
