I have some Sparco hood pins , i have no idea how to install. I know how to drill the holes, and i was wondering if any one has done this and how did you do it. I dont care if you think its "rice" material or not , if you dont know or have pics dont even post. Thank you for looking, i didnt ask for your opinion i asked for how to do it . Just a heads up for those type of people .
From what I remember seeing, you just have a type of Long bolt, with a couple nuts for each one right?
You drill a hole in part of the Rad support, then use a nut on each side(top/bottom) to fix the bolt in there.
As for how you mark the hole for the hood, not really sure, lay it down on them then mark maybe?

once your bolts are in place on the rad support, put some kind of washable paint on top of the bolt so that when you lower your hood and it touches the top of the bolts, it will leave a mark on your hood.
this way you will have somewhat of a guide to where you should be drilling your hood.

You dont have to drill a hole in your radiator support because there's alreay holes there. Just find two that are evenly spaced out. Install the two large pins. Close your hood. Where ever the pins are touching the hood, drill there. You may have to drill the hole larger than the hood pins because when the hood closes all the way, the pins need room to move back. Good luck.
