Default New Blowoff Valve Design from Tial!

We received a package today containing the new Tial bov's . Being we are the first to get receive them, took some pictures of it for those who were not able to make it to PRI and see it in person, according to Tial it flows 60% more than the older design, its a really nice piece, we're replacing our old one for this new one as we speak, maybe Jake will chime in to give us some more input, anyhow enjoy:

Can't really discuss pricing on the forum, this was mainly just to display the new product for those hadn't seen it yet, but just to have an idea price should not change from what you normally have seen Tial 50mm bov's for in the past, if interested in some more info you can pm me

we need to note the spring changes:
6psi = vac between 8 and 11
8psi = vac between 12 and 15
10psi = vac between 16 and 19
11psi = vac between 20 and 21
12psi = vac between 22 and 23

the bov is 1/4 inch taller than the previous model, same diameter around

what does that spring pressure(vac between XXX)... indicate?

what im trying to get at is, which one for what application of boost level?

use the coresponding (x)psi spring from the chart based on how much in/hg vac. your motor pulls at idle and operating temp. for example if you pull 17-18 in/hg of vac. on your gauge... you would want a 10psi spring in the new tial bov.

what would be the discrepancy of say...

if my motor pulls 22 in/hg vac at idle, and if used a blow off valve rated at only 10 psi(16-19 in/hg vac)?

so whats the big difference with this valve vs. "the old one" that allows it to flow 60% more if the flange is the same? does the bov open up faster with vac changes?
