z6 vtec solenoid might not be working
in my z6 ef, i can not hear vtec cross over at all! i mean i've been in a few of my friends cars with z6 swaps and you can hear it cross over, but mine doesn't at all. well tomorrow morning im getting a newer solenoid and putting it in and see what happens. anyone else know why its not crossing over?
it doesn't matter if you could hear it crossover ( i think ) it matters if you feel a set of G's pulling you back after vtec kicks in. before i had stock i/h/e and i could hear the cross over but after i got a intake, greddy header, 2 1/4 piping and a trust muffler, i couldn't hear the vtec crossover that well as before.

Double Ugh.
1 - You won't hear it, its a SOHC so that means VTEC is only active on 8 valves. It's not that K20 folks where octaves of audible goodness rip through time and space when.
2 - If you're not throwing any codes for your solenoid, 99.3% it is still fine.
3 - A set of G's? See 1 above.
4 - I need a beer and its only 11...well the bar on campus is open now
