Which year would be the best?

 

96-98 CX Hatch.

 

As far as I know, they were the same through 96-98...Only CX and DX. 99-00 only offered CX and DX as well. You don't have much of a choice. Of course the CX will be slightly lighter without some minor accesories, but they are esentially the same vehicle. There is nothing like the 92-95 hatchback model offerings.

 

The best EK would have to be the CTR.

 

96 CX was the lightest

 

Hatchback: CX -- all of em are stripped down and CX is the lightest

Coupe: HX -- power everything without the unneccessary ****, only 22lbs heavier than a DX hatchback

96 LX..... White with tan interior. Auto A/C power everything. Can't go wrong.

 

98 is the best year. it was the older front end, lighter than 99-00 and has the dark grey interior and not the light grey. 98

civic cx is the lightest

 

This is the best EK

 

96 Cx= light / stripped. NO ac no powersteering.
dx = light/ still gots some goodies, ac and powersteering.

dx hybrid, light, no pwersteering, no ac, fast as hell.
