Intake manifold gasket
I have 2 question.
First question is, how do i get the gasket off the block. It seems to be as if it's glued on. I got most of it off, but there are still little pieces stuck on there.
Second question is, are the 99-00 si gasket same as the 92 jdm b16a.
TIA.

putty knife worked pretty good for me.
i just wipe mine with wet papertowels to wet the gasket, then scrape with a putty knife. worked pretty good, just have to be careful not to get anything in the intake ports.

and yea, I stuff the ports with newspaper so that it clogs it pretty well, and then after scraping a vacuum off everything just to make sure nothing got in there. but if all of this doesn't work for you, heh, good luck

I wouldn't advise using a screwdriver or putty knife since they can scratch the mating surfaces. I just use carb cleaner, a shop rag, and an old credit card. It does a great job, and the surfaces look pristine.
Auto parts stores also sell gasket remover for like $4 a can... don't know how well they work, but I've also seen gasket scraper tools that may be better than a putty knife. It's all about the right tools
