Default turbo heat shield material?

anyone know where to get heat shield material like this?



thats a picture of a twins turbo supra. figure i could just call, but i'm lazy.

i don't know what those specific blankets are made of but i know that the turbo blankets that fit over the turbine housings are made of ceramic wool. i know you can buy the ceramic wool in rolls, it's used alot in construction for fire sealing holes in walls, so maybe calling construction supply places would be your best bet.
i stole, err borrowed a **** ton from a job site, the stuff is amazing, i've held a mapp gas torch to it for a long period of time and it did absolutely nothing.

thats for interiors or somthing. you wouldn't want to wrap a turbine housing with it.

find out whatever nasa uses on the shuttles and use that. Makes that heat blanket look like toilet paper

the picture looks like the same thing we are using on the jet engines at work.

you might be able to find it at a airplane store.

there is a specialized company that does this and i remember a lot of supra guys using them, i just can't remember the site.
