Exhaust upgrade, worth it?
I know that most of these cars have very efficient factory parts, so may see very little, if any, gains. How are the power increases on a '95 EX?
Header: I understand the factory exhaust manifold is pretty damn good. But I can get a stainless header for $65 out the door.... worth the price?
Racing cat: I figure its just a test pipe or something similar...$25 and it bolts up...I'm definitely getting this. Plus its made of stainless.
Full catback: its about 2.25-2.5 mandrel bend, comes with resonator, but has the N1 style cannister. I'd like something more subtle, but for $120 out the door, I can live with it...
What do you think? keep the factory manifold? Replace only the cat? Get the whole shebang and worry about other things?

The power increases would not be substantial at all as these motors don't really respond well to the I/H/E mods.
And 2.5 is kinda big for a stock F22 haha.
I'm going 2.5" for my H22 swap

Hmmm... I"m thinking just getting the racing cat/catback, since I might buy a turbo kit...the header would be worthless after that...
Would I pick up 10hp at the very least with the full exhaust?

Again,
Two reasons for getting an exhaust system,
1. Relive back pressure
2. Stylin'
Two reasons why not to get an exhaust system
1. If you not running a high compression/performance engine no need for it.
2. More attention/noise from exhaust = more attention for cops :-)
The choice is ultimately up to the owner.

Doubt it, we're low compression (as ef9 mentioned) and probably I/H/E everything it'd be a 10 hp gain TOPS probably more like 5

Hahaha! I guess stylin' in an Accord is out of the question...I bought it because I wanted less attention from Johnny Law.
Looks like I'm saving my monies on this mod.

How do you like that by the way?
I considered getting it.
