anyone with ek side mirrors on their eg? any cutting or mods to get them to fit??

 

why would u do that? ek mirrors are too fat for an eg.

 

i think you need to trim a piece of the mirror and drill an extra hold in your car...ive seen it done on HT...pretty straighforward...you should appreciate the EG mirrors...theyre pretty nice

 

First of I used electric mirrors that are not hooked up so I did not have to trim a hole for the plug. If you use manual mirrors then you have to cut a pretty large hole in you door to get the lever to go thru. This is also the case if you use the electric's and want to hook them up.
Other then that they go in pretty easy. I drilled one hole and walloed out the other two. It all depends on how you want it to fit and where you want the gaps.

who said anything about the ek mirrors being usdm?

 

anyone got any pixs of usdm or jdm ek mirrors on a eg? post them up i would liek to see the gaps.. ive seen ek mirrors on eg i didnt see any gaps, vice versa with eg on ek
