how do people usually call del so???

I have a 94 del so type S and would like to buy parts. However, I could barely find parts for it. usually people put EK, DC.........

So I wounder what is the short term for del so.

 

its del soL...not "del so"

and technically its an eg/eh it has no 2 letter abbrev that is wrong like ek, eg

 

Just go right into the Honda Tech Marketplace theres lots of stuff for Del Sol's
I'm not sure what your looking to buy for parts, so its kind of hard to send you in the right direction other than that

 

Will the SI engine be direct bolt onto the S del sol?

I am thinking to swap it in since the engine in the shell is old.

 

Well seeing as though your name is motorD16y7, I'm assuming that your car actually has a D16y7 in it, which would mean no, the b16 won't bolt right in

 

which si engine?? there are like 4 or 5 different ones. there is a d16z6 from 92-95 civic si hatchbacks...then there is the b16a2 from the 99-00 civic si...then there is the k20's from 2 different civic si's. which one are you wantin to know about?

 

I am talking about the si Model from Del Sol which is a SOHC vtec engine.

Remember Del SOl has three different model
1. S
2. SI
3. Vtec

My del Sol is a model S and I would like to swap the SI del Sol model in it. Again which is a SOHC Vtec.

Anyway, my "motorD16Y7" is the engine in my CIVIC not on the DelSol.
