Hey all,

I need a hand from someone with a repair manual. My front rotors are warped and need to be changed, but I want to know whether or not I should replace my rear rotors as well. The info that I'm looking for is the width at which my rotors would need to be replaced.

Also, I'm going to be replacing my pads for mostly street with some auto-x use. Anyone have any good/bad experiences with brembo sport pads?

There's a couple good brands that the AutoX guys do, I believe there's a brake pad discussion in one of the specific forums (might be AutoX)

 

I got a 94 EX, so I have 1" master cylinder & done ROH

right now I'm using Slotted Brembo blank(98 4cyl accord disk) + Hawks HPS (F&R) for around 8000km or 5000mile

I think HPS is ok for street/daily use
but for auto X i think u need HP plus

never try Brembo pads so can't tell u anything
i order my Brembo blank from this site

I'm thinking the hawks are going to be a bit extreme for my application. Yes, I want track performance, but I'm not sure how much brake noise I'm willing to tolerate on a daily basis.

Anyway, anybody got rotor replacement specs?

Rear brake Disc Thinkness:

standard: 9.9 -10.1mm (0.39-0.40in)
max refinishing limit: 8.0mm (0.31in)
brake Disc Paralleism: 0.015mm(0.0006in) max
