any idea why there not lighting up ???

 

I have had the same problem since I put in a JDM Guage Cluster. Half of the cluster won't light up, and the climate control is extremely dim. It would be nice to figure out what is going on.

 

Mine has been that way for about 11 years now. I dont even notice it until someone else points it out. Its only the passenger side on mine though. I thought about changing the blubs and checking all the connections but some of the screws are a pain to get at. I would start buy just removing the stereo and checking the connections. If nothing then you can decide if you want to go any farther with the troubleshooting. Good Luck.

 

Your bulbs are out. There are two bulbs in the climate control, and if one goes out, the other side will still be lit, but look dim. It was a PITA changing it out, too. Good luck.

 

^^ Either that or your control **** is bad.

 

Check to see if your dash dimmer works, if it does not, you may need to replace it.

 

the dimmer works fine yeah i think its the bulbs ....
i heard its a pain in the @$$ to change them ...

 

it's easy once you get the cluster out.
