aem cam gear worth $100

a friend of mine said he'll sell me his for $100, is it worth the buy? i have a 93 dx hatch with full exhaust and cold air intake.

If you have stock cams then you are pretty much wasting your money. Just an FYI that I also heard that aem cam gears are prone to slipping in some cases.

not only that but i think you can get a new one for 100. ive seen them other places for less...shop around
