Default Rear Bumper Difference

Super quick and simple question, didn't see anything in search.

Is there and difference in a rear bumper between a 96-98 coupe and a 99-00 coupe?

thanks

Yeah there is, the 96-98 does't come down as low. It's really hard to tell the difference unless you're looking at a 99-00 with a 96-98 bumper actually on it; looks a tiny little bit goofy.

You can also tell because one is part #21030 and the other is 20129.

the differences arent that noticeable... they both bolt up the same. if you can get the 96-98 one for cheaper, might as well get it

Yeah if it's for someone who is just a casual Honda driver, it won't ever matter.

if she has mud guards, it won't fit on on that 98 bumper.

Yup. Lower part on 96-98 goes in but 99-00 sticks out.

well long as it isn't super obvious or anything. The bumper will get paint matched, so after that it should look good, right?

Yeah, nobody besides people on Honda boards would notice haha. If you parked two cars with the different bumpers side by side you'd probably be able to tell, but it would be a bit like Where's Waldo? or something.
