The stock catch can in an ek civic 96-00 (I'm sure eg's and ef's got them too)... is that necessary? I seen a lot of cars without them and when I took it out the car I didn't really pay attention to where it goes.

My **** idles at 4k, I tried everything lol
Can someone help?


Also, is it absolutely necessary to have that or can I plug up wherever they plug up to? or can I remove the catch can and just run the line?

you must be talking about the charcoal canister that absorbs fuel and crankcase vapor?

ive deleted this many a time but ive kept the purge valve plugged in so i dont through a code

 

is the purge valve directly on the catch can? im not familiar with this ****
