Default Coilovers for S2000?

Who makes coilovers for the S2000? I know H&R makes some, but who else does? I'm looking for a 1.5 - 2.0 inch drop, BTW. Thanks alot!

Actually there is quite a few. I also have Comptech Coilovers with Koni adjustable shocks. Here are some others:

Spoon Coilovers
Mugen Coilovers
Comptech Coilovers
Custco Coilovers
Zeal Coilovers
HKS Coilovers
H & R Coilovers
BuddyClub Coilovers
Ground Control Coilovers
Tein Coilovers
All of these are pretty good.

Default Springs Instead

If you are only looking for a 1.50" - 2.00" drop in overall height, why don't you look into aftermarket springs only? I know HKS and kg/mm make aftermarket lowering springs for the S2000.

Honestly, I wouldn't make any changes to the handling of the car unless you are a suspension guru. The car is pretty much dialed in from the factory. You haven't even recieved the car yet (according to your signature), so I would learn to drive the car as it sits before I did anything.

Just my opinion.

As I remember SPOON(SHOWA), Mugen, Buddy Club, Cusco, DMS, JIC etc all have coilovers for AP1.

Don't think so. The SPOON AP1 that raced in Super Taikyu use SPOON N1 coilovers made by SHOWA.

Showa makes the OEM suspension for the S2000 as well.

AJ Racing will give the only for the brands that they carry. I'm suprised you didn't mention Buddy Club or Zeal. They're better than TEIN's too right?

AJ pwr. I understand you are one of the importer for spoon. can you tell me why you pick spoon over Tein? Tein retails for a lottt less. Comes with 1 year warranty, do you offer 1 year warranty on your Spoon coilover? Tein have a facility in NA. Which offers rebuild on shocks that's blown or wear down. Do you offer rebuild shocks if one of the shocks blown. Here's the paste from Tein website of Tein RA. Don't knock on a product until you understand it. Tein - number 1 sold coilovers in Japan.

This product has adopted into its package, the specifications used in the rally field such as the World Rally Championship. We have constructed a footwork for you which puts priority into its function.
A high grade specification which gives you a unique driving feeling
Introduction of specifications used at competition levels
Adopted a single rod structure for better reception between driver and road surface.

A linear damping effect which catches even the smallest road surface information by adopting the single rod structure.
Seamless tube using a drawing method. Processing technology which enables a high level of precision up to 1/100mm of the inner diameter. Inner surface precision up to 3.2S (inner surface bumps within +/- 1.6 micrometer)
Use of ultra light and strong aluminum - A7050 which is also used in airplanes.
A I.D.45 piston which is maximum for marketed cars' shock absorber.
A different diameter multi-level valve structure which enables damping effect and specifications adjustment.
The damping effect adjustment structure uses a evolved version of the special shaped needle valve which has already been proven in the HA/NA dampers.
