looking to get some hasport mounts for a d16z6 in a eg chassis
im thinkin that i should use the egstk mount kit but ive seen some sites advertising these for a b series into an eg and i didnt think b16 and d16 mounts were the same

anyone know which kit is the right one ?

 

b series and d series motor moutns are different. but the rear mount are the same. and i didnt know hasport makes mounts for d series.

 

i think its just the gearbox mount thats different, if hasport dont make d series one anyone know of a company that does ?

 

its weird hasport only has oem replacement mounts for the 88-91 crx/civic,im sure it wont be long though

We have the solution for your D series replacement mounts -PM sent to you.

 

From what I've seen the driver's side one and the rear are the same. But there are full mount kits available from various companies out there...

 

Thats not true, I used my D series drivers side motor mount for my B16 swap because the guy screwed up and sent me the USDM 3 holed motor mount instead of the JDM 2 holed motor mount.

some kid i know (myself) convinced someone (you) to use them civic mounts in the momnet of panic when the engine was ready to go in with no mounts!!!!!!!!!

 

bseries and dseries mounts are the same

just depends if you have the 2post or 3post drivers side mount

EG/DC that is.

so YES, Hasport makes 'sohc' mounts if you will.

2 bolt offset drivers side mount the kit is EGSTK

3 bolt drivers side mount the kit is DCSTK
