Default dc headers ceramic coating

I have two questions....
first one, I have a dc header... my car has sat for awhile (ya'll know why) and it was brand new, now it has rusted not bad it wipes off but it looks like the coating they put on the header wasn't very thick kinda crappy IMO, just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and what they did. I have a powder coating gun and a gas oven... I did my valve cover silver..(looks like polished aluminum) has anyone tried recoating them? second question... I used my Aem cai from my f22b1 it works and fits but i know it's smaller than the one on a prelude do you guys think I'll lose anything power wise by using it on a H22?

DC is a pretty descent brand... are you sure the header is really made by them?!
Header powder coated or not... eventually starts to get those little dots of rust all over... some sooner, some later.. some... never..lol.
About the intake... the answer is absolutelly NO...there's no loss of power/torque by using a longer or shorter intake.

I was just brainstorming and you know what header manufactures should do!!!

They should cast the headers with points to mount the stock heat shield, this will kill all COPS that are retards to send you to Ref for a header.

i don't know about the p.c., but there is a company called Swain Technoligies that have a header coat called White Lightning, they say it's pretty thick compared to other brands, and it helps hold in the heat better(claim). There are a ton of other companys that do this too, some have a shiny aluminum finish, but I've always read good things about Swain

yes they will. all you need to do is extend the o2 sensor wire. i never understand why people buy a dc sport header when they have the same flow and design as the EX one.

what dfo you have an h22 or a f22? if you have the jdm H22 I was using a DC sports 4-2-1 header that was modified to a 3'' flang, 3 inch exhaust crush bent, a ebay intake, and 40 mins of dyno tuning and I made 201 whp/165tq...that was a cheap way to make decent power..on the F22 I would just keep the stock header and spend the money on a 50 shot kit or save up to replace it with a turbo manifold

the EX header is EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE DC SPORT HEADER
