Default bogging issue after turbo, 92 civic coupe with d16y8

I have a question to ask, a buddie of mine has a 92 Civic Coupe, with the D16Y8 motor and he has it boosted and the car seems to bogg down and hit fuel cut bad, right around 2000 rpm the car boggs bad, and when turbo starts to spool it seems to hit fuel cut, he is only pushing about 8 psi, and when we checked out the wires to the injectors it seemed to be grounding out on the fuel rail, so we took all the resistors out and wired them to the ecu instead of in the engine bay, and we fixed all the wires, re soldered and heat shrinked the wires and the issue is still happening, he is just using a phariable(SP) ecu with just a base map, not really any major tuning done to the car, does any one have suggestions on what else we could try ?

Thanks

u need to get it dyno tune or street tune to make it run right and smooth. because fuel/air ratio is off. ecu needs to remap. i saw your sign and u have some aftermarket cams on your dc4 integra. u didnt get it tuned either ?
