fellow honda heads i wanted to know if anybody can tell me what i have to do in order to put b16b piston in my b16a engine cause i had heard that i had to do something with the rods and if so is there a shop around or close to el paso tx that anybody can recomend.any help i will thank you

most people seem to go the route of shaving the small end of the rod since the CTR piston itself is narrower where it mates up to the CTR/ITR rods.

I've seen others do it the other way and shave the piston to fit the bigger 16A rod.

Don't live anywhere near you, so I'll wait for other locals to chime in regarding good machine shops

Other than having the wrist pins pressed out and in there is nothing you need to do.
I have had them on motors in the past and never did anything to them.
