I have a 1987 Acura Legend, I am putting a new motor in it and am stuck as to which one fits. I wanted to put the 94 NSX motor in it but as im finding out i might as well buy an old NSX for that kind of money. So im thinkin i should put a c27a from a 96 Accourd and all i would have to change is the ECU. Does anyone have any other suggestions on a faster motor that will bolt right to the 2.5 c27 tranny. Also i want to know a good light weight flywheel to add while the motor and tranny are apart. Thay all seem the same some are just sooooooooo expensive. Im new to hondas so i could use all the advise i can get.

I'm sure you have way more work ahead of you than a simple ECU swap. You have all kinds of sensors not present in '87 that a '96 is probably riddled with. Wiring on that is gonna be a bitch. You have an OBD conversion to fight. Not to mention that the tranny probably won't bolt up without a conversion plate of some sort. Then there's the issue of mounts.
