Fuel Door/ Trunk Release Cable Busted.
Hey everyone, i've been reading a few topics on this but nothing gave me a answer.
my cable for the trunk relaease/fuel dorr is busted, right up where the cable joins the leaver arm on the floor of the car, i have the trunk close, and the fuel door is closed but i need to have this fixed.
how big of a job is this to do? what am i looking forward to have this done myself? will i just need the cable or will i have to buy the whole lot from Honda (cable, fittings, leaver, releases)
thanks
my last was locked, i search this site nothing answers my question, the whole cable is snapped off, fueldoorfix.com will not work for me.
i was wondering if i can simply replace the cable, or will the whole lot have to be replace(in a kit), also how hard of a job is it to do this?

Do you have a Helms service manual for diagrams on how to remove the trim pieces in order to access the cable itself?
If not, try here: http://handaaccessories.com/civmaint01.html

Yup, i did mine about 2 months ago. Just follow the line and remember the way it was once you put it back.
