well my car has a b20b vtec with a b16a head.. i think its time for a tune up but im a little confused on what parts to use.. when i got the swap done the shop told me to for the bottom end buy b20 parts for top end buy b16 parts..

i just wanted to double check and see what brands i should get or if theyre any suggestions ( i did a quick search but didnt find exactly what i was looking for )

what distributor cap and rotor should i buy? for a civic si, or honda crv?

what spark plugs, and wires should i buy too? should i just get oem quality or next one up??

and i was reading up on the spark plug gap, should i do it at .44?

the cars a 1997 civic ex, b20bvtec b16a head stock interals with arp rods and new bearings...(if it makes a difference in the parts i should be buying)

any other suggestions for stuff i should be changing, swap has 1500 miles on it, the plugs looked bad and the shop told me to do a tune up with in my next oil change so im doing it a bit early...

You should use B16 plugs, wires and distributor on the head, preffered NGK plugs. (99-00 Civic Si).And what you get for the bottom end depends on your setup. Like if you ran GSr pumps and belt or what not. And those distributor caps wont affect anything. They're just for looks.
