Default my new ek, along with a couple questions

I traded my 94 ls integra over the weekend for this 98 civic hx. The car has Tein lowering springs on it but for some reason, the front is high as hell still. (I know it has tein springs because we kept our old wheels with the trade and I saw the springs when the wheels were off)

Anyways, what I was wondering is, why in the world does the front of the car sit up so high still? here are a few pics, don't mind how dirty the car is or the flat tire:

and the "money shot"

and a pic of the teg I got rid of:

Damn I would have kept the teg. *shrug*
About the ride height, alot of entry-level springs like pro-kit or S-tech create the "boat" look where the front appears higher. Maybe the springs are even on backwards.. not sure.. though

lol springs arent in backwards.. if they were the front would be lower since engine weighs more than trunk.

well... how new are the springs because maybe they haven't settled. Or are the shocks blown in the rear possibly? -should have kept the teg man, looked pretty clean. Good luck with the build

I would not have done the trade, but about your height problem, maybe they are tein springs for the wrong car?

about everyone saying they would not have done the trade, the teg was a bone stock LS integra with about 5" of bondo in each rear quarter panel, it had a maaco paint job, and was lowered on ebay coilovers. Most of the car had a ton of rust on it, even all the bolts and nuts under the hood were rusted. It also had LOTS of little dings on each side of the car. This car has no rust at all, and both rear quarters are fine.

the mods on this car are:

I/H/E...full exhaust, blox lower control arms, STR fuel rail, P30 ecu, new motor thats strong as hell. power windows, locks and mirrors, short shifter and GSR shift ****, has knock off ek4 CTR headlights, tein springs, and a type r style lip, also has a new clutch and a 7.5lb flywheel.

thank you for correcting me about what I have. I didn't ask you for that, on another note, since you know so much, you should have read my post right above yours. If you want a car with lots of bondo on the rear quarters and a maaco paint job, then be my guest.

just so everyone knows, there is no way the fronts are on the back and the backs on the front. the rear of the car weighs less than the front of the car, if they were backwards, the back would be very high and the front would be dumped!

Apparently noone here can read. THe picture of the teg obviously made the teg seem much nicer than it actually was. As for your question, i don't know the answer, sorry.
