Default d15b head/cover, dizzy

I have a d15b bottom but for some reason my car has a d15b7 non-vtec head. So, I'd like to convert my engine back to what it is supposed to be and give me back my VTEEEEECCCCCC!!!
Sort of a mini me?

Also, I know this is TOTALLY in the wrong area to be asking this question, but since we're on the topic, why is it that someone with a d15b8 engine can't do a mini me with a d15b head?
Just curious, cuz my friend's got a b8

cheers

do you want a d15b head or will any vtec head do, also the reason it's said you can't mini-me a d15b8 is becuase of the valve reliefs in the pistons 8v vs 16v

I'd prefer a d15b head, but depending on the price and availability I would consider other choices.

Thanks for looking and answering my question

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by qweakers &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the reason it's said you can't mini-me a d15b8 is becuase of the valve reliefs in the pistons 8v vs 16v</TD></TR></TABLE>

depends on the year of the D15B8, i believe the 92-93 D15B8's had only 2 valve reliefs per piston, where the 94-95 D15B8's had the 4 valve reliefs per piston (essentially the same block as a D15B7).

oh, and i have a D16Z6 head for sale in the link in my signature (same head as a D15B, just a different cam, supposedly the D15B has a slightly more agressive cam). i want to have the valve seals changed in the head before i sell it though. price listed is as-is, price will go up slightly and will list on eBay after the valve seal change.
