Default Turbo fitment issue

Ok so heres the deal I picked up an ebay kit (yes I know) but only paid 500 for it and helped buddy out at same time. Now I went to mock it up in my crx with b20 and the turbo hits the bumper support below where the hood latches. Should I...1)Buy a different manifold or 2)cut the bumper support to allow the turbo to fit in there.

I think you are confused. thats the radiator support. the bumper support is in the front bumper cover. For fitment you can use a jdm bumper support it is much thinner and the intercooler will fit easy. you can cut the radiator support its not that structural. you should be fine, break out the sawz-all

I wouldnt cut anything, but thats just me. manifolds are cheap. Buy a manifold you think will work. The hf bumper support will work to mount the intercooler in the front.

full or half size radiator? what turbo, manifold combo are you using thats big enough to hit the radiator support.

if you get rid og your radiator support you have to get hood pins

for some turbos I saw they had to cut a notch out of the cross member. seems to work fine for them.

T3/t4 turbo
Innovative racing x member
92-95 1/2 size radiator
xs power manifold (just for now)

Its hitting the core support, not the bumper or xmember. I think I might be able to knotch it out to make it fit.

I would pick up another manifold that works for your chassis. You even state yourself that the manifold is "just for now"...why not get rid of it rather than cutting your radiator support? Those manifolds are known to break so if you do keep it and it breaks, you're going to have to buy a new manifold AND live with the notched radiator support....kind of a lose-lose situation IMO
