Normally I wouldn't ask this but I need brakes yesterday. Has anyone heard of Prostop platinum brake pads from Pepboys? I was gonna get EBC but they didn't have my application and Hawk's would take several days to get. I did a five lug conversion so Type R pads aren't easy to come by unless I go to the dealership. Any thoughts?

 

I get duralast gold ceramic pads from autozone and they hace warranties and ive never had a problem...i dont kno about u but the pep boys by me sucks and i would never take my car there to get worked on or get parts from there.....but thats my opinion and i have never used there brakes and never will!

get the ebc or wait for the hawks, even oem will b better then what pep boys have to offer
