Hey ive got a buddy who wants to swap me a B18C1 w/B16A trans for my 1991 Ford Mustang GT, im not too thrilled to trade my REAL car for an engine but im tinkering with the idea of swapping my car for the motor, what would b needed to swap this engine into my 1992 Civic DX, with the D15B7, ive checked out hasport and their mount kits and im just trying to make sure ive got all my bases covered before i go and potentially regret getting rid of my other project car, i know im gonna need the axles from the teg, and the hasport mount kit, then im gonna need the ecu, is there anything else im missing here cause i wanna do this right since the honda is my daily driver. I cant afford any costly mistakes or a broken down car that needs something major, and i dont want any CEL's being tripped cause it hasnt been done right
for the new mounts. make sure u get the gsr into eg mounts. because on the driver side mount, b16 and b18 are different. and also u will need shiftlinkage, intermediate axle and both cv axles and rear t bracket from a 94 and up integra (if any of the parts didnt come with the swap)..ecu.and throttle cable from a gsr integra. LS and GS model wont work cause they are longer

Yea my buddy told me id need the t-bracket, and the intermediate shaft ill have to get and then the throttle cables i think ill have to get since my buddy wants to keep the head for a turbo 2.0L build hes doing, but will the wiring harness for the d series work? I know ill need the ecu and bracket and intermediate shaft and axles and mounts and throttle cables but what about the wiring harness?............... I think im gonna put the ax on this entire transaction and say no to him unless he includes the wiring and ecu and intermediate shaft
u can use the d series wiring harness. i did a gsr swap into a 94 civic hatch and i had to lengthen a couple wires and wire it for vtec, knock sensor, and iab. Its worth every minute and dolar you put into, if its done right.

Well im thinking about ripping one out of a GSR from a junk yard................. And the meaning of my signature means that im a big muscle car guy and always have been but because of gas prices and the budget that i have to work with they are cheaper and easier to mess around with, otherwise if money was no object id have a twin turboed fully built 1991 Ford Mustang GT with the rear end from a `03 Cobra and the car would b caged and absolutely crazy as hell
